Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Base Pay: £395,000.00 per annum

Following on from a period of mechanism design based development and the implementation of global IP protection strategies over the last five years, we are now seeking a Group-Level Chief Marketing Officer (Group CMO) to lead our marketing efforts and drive our budgeted growth objectives and go-to-market presence across the fintech focused digital asset sectors in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

Job Description:

As our Group-Level Chief Marketing Officer, this a challenging and highly rewarding position. You will have a minimum 5 years CMO experience, be confident, resourceful and instrumental in establishing and coordinating our marketing resources.

 

This role demands a highly successful and results oriented world-class marketing leader, with demonstrated experience in ultra-high-volume operations and a first-hand awareness and generalised experience of global fintech and financial service markets.

 

Reporting directly to the new Group CEO you will need to navigate the complexities of platform marketing at scale, within a mix of traditionally regulated and math-regulated financial ecosystem environments, while at all times ensuring compliance with fair marketing practices within the context of local cultural statutes, laws, and compliance guidelines and financial market regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a direct report team of Global Leaders and their Regional BDO and Events based teams.

  • Develop and oversee the end-to-end marketing/communication strategies for our newly launching regions, ensuring adherence to local market regulations and fair marketing practices.

  • Lead and manage a team of external marketing contractors, including designers, SEO specialists, and copywriters.

  • Shape brand voice, website content, and inbound lead strategies for new entities.

  • Work in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week, with the flexibility to accommodate personal circumstances.

  • Promote and foster communication across departments to align and execute marketing strategies.

  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude with the autonomy to implement changes and enhancements.

 

Technical Expertise and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to identify unique differentiators and increase market share.

  • Position a comprehensive marketing and GTM strategy, establishing clear unique value propositions and sustainable market positioning.

  • Implement and optimize marketing channels across the customer journey to improve key metrics such as awareness, acquisition, activation, and retention.

  • Oversee the delivery of platforms and websites with optimized SEO and CRO, structured funnels.

  • Establish analytics tracking and marketing reporting dashboards, providing actionable data insights.

  • Lead the integration of AI tools and methodologies to streamline both local market and global based marketing operations and reduce costs.

 

Technical Skills:

Experience or proficiency with the following or generally similar marketing support tools would be advantageous:

 

  • Salesforce CRM

  • Google Analytics or Microsoft Power BI.

  • Digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  • Financial promotion regulatory compliance tools and frameworks.

 

Candidate Profile:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Extensive broad scale experience in marketing, but not necessarily exclusively within the fintech and/or traditional financial service sectors, with a proven track record of success in managing comprehensive platform marketing strategies.

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and manage external partnerships.

  • A strategic thinker with a strong ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Must have a proactive, can-do attitude, capable of independently initiating and leading projects and meeting agreed objectives.

  • Prepared to work, initially, without much internal marketing support and comfortable managing and leading both internal staff and external contractors/agencies.
