Base Pay:

 

US $150,000 - $195,000 per annum

Plus Role listed US Region Benefits - Plus

A five year pre-paid home loan and a two year convertible stock option plan, fixed at a one times base salary multiple pa over a 2 yr term.

Job Description:

As our new - Regional - Senior Real Estate Analyst US, this a challenging and highly rewarding position. You will have a minimum 5 years experience, be confident, resourceful and instrumental in establishing and coordinating all real estate asset based resources.

 

This role demands a highly successful and results oriented “world-class” property analyst  with demonstrated experience in high-impact operations, and a first-hand awareness and generalised experience of global real estate markets.

 

Reporting directly to the Global Leader Real Estate Operations based in Los Angeles you will navigate the complexities of both platform and portfolio operations at scale in a mix of local environments while at all times ensuring full compliance with fair value metrics within the context of local operations.

We are looking for a for a young, dynamic and ambitious candidate to support our US real estate operations working on direct asset acquisitions and evaluations for sale/purchase by in-house and institutional clients.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing all financial, market, and asset analysis for regional real estate market acquisitions - and ongoing valuation metrics for new property investment trusts and funds.

 

The role supports the acquisition, management and disposition of US properties purchased and financed, helping to optimise the portfolio's performance and achieve investment and collateral security structured objectives. The analyst will work closely with our internal and external - local and global - property analysts, asset managers, and other stakeholders to support decision-making.

It will be necessary to accept and to complete an initial non-disclosure agreement - prior to detailed initial discussions, and a pre-employment review in depth. In additional - a binding 2 year non-compete agreement will need to be completed by the successful candidate that is effective immediately for a 2 year term, on completion or cessation of group employment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Property & Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research and property analysis to evaluate the performance of potential investments.

 

  • Assess Property Values: current local asset values, rent levels, market trends and other key factors.

 

  • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models to forecast returns, assess risk, and evaluate the financial feasibility of potential acquisitions or disposals.

 

  • Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence processes for acquisitions, including gathering market data, property information, and financial documentation. Perform financial analysis to determine return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR), and other key metrics.

 

  • Investment Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management and investors, detailing the performance of the property portfolio, financial results, and market conditions.

 

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the fund, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

 

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to property investments, including market fluctuations, tenant risk, regulatory changes, and physical property conditions.


Role Requirements:

  • Strong acquisition modelling and ongoing multi-billion level portfolio evaluation skills

  • 5+ years property experience within a similar role.

  • Strong portfolio performance analysis skills.on a local and global basis

  • MBA preference with relevant local valuation and Property Economics qualifications
